Sukkur is one of the old cities of Sindh and is 3rd largest in its length. It is situated on the bank of river Indus. Here live about 70% Sindhi speaking people, 15% Urdu speaking and 15% other language speaking people. Sukkur is also famouse for its shrines of several saints.
